The airport serves some 30 million passengers per annum, with dozens of domestic and international carriers flying to destinations throughout India and the rest of the world. There are two main terminals - the Domestic Terminal and the International Terminal - which are separated and accessible by shuttle bus.

Both terminals have recently been upgraded and feature good passenger facilities, with moneychangers and cash machines in both terminals as well as postal services and duty-free in the International Terminal; shops and restaurants are located throughout.

Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets


Mumbai International Airport (BOM) has a selection of shops for travellers including book stores, gift shops, confectionery and newsagents as well as duty-free stores in the Departures area at Terminal 2 (International Terminal).

Bars, Cafés and Restaurants


The airport has recently undergone improvements and features improved eating options, with cafés, snack bars, restaurants and bars all available. There are also coffee machines and ice cream and chocolate shops.

Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities


Cash machines (ATMs) are located in both terminals of Mumbai Airport and there are also bureaux de change in the International Terminal. Postal services are available, while the telecommunications centres have telephones, fax, Internet and photocopying facilities.

Business and Conference Facilities


Both terminals come with business centres, where meeting rooms and business facilities are available. In addition, the nearby Leela Kempinski Hotel is well appointed and has commendable business and conferencing facilities. Business class lounges are also available at Mumbai Airport.

Disabled Facilities


Disabled passengers can request free assistance at the airport and they have access to convenient facilities and services including reserved parking, adapted toilets, lifts, ramps and wheelchairs.
